ABOUT RYAN
Ryan MacDonell is a holistic financial planner at Center for Wealth Preservation, where he specializes in helping C-suite executives and business owners navigate the full spectrum of their financial lives. His practice integrates insurance planning, wealth management, estate planning, executive benefits, and business succession—with a focus on building strategies that are as comprehensive as they are deeply personal. Ryan takes pride in understanding not just his clients' balance sheets, but the goals, legacies, and complexities that sit behind them.
Beyond his client work, Ryan is deeply committed to his community. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Alzheimer's Association Long Island Chapter and is the co-founder of The MacDonell Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to funding local Alzheimer's resources and research through fundraising initiatives. His advocacy work earned him the 2025 Volunteer of the Year Award from Long Island Business News, and he was recognized as a 2025 30 Under 30 honoree by the Huntington Chamber of Commerce—acknowledgments that reflect a career defined by purpose as much as performance.
When he's not with clients or in the community, Ryan can be found enjoying time with his friends and family, in the gym, or fighting a major slice on the golf course.
